Our Approach

Evidence-Based Practice Our work is grounded in approaches with strong research support including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and trauma-focused modalities.

Trauma-Informed We understand that many people seeking mental health support carry histories of trauma — often unrecognised or unprocessed. A trauma-informed approach means we always prioritise safety, work at your pace, and never push you further than your nervous system can sustain.

Neurodiversity-Affirming Mental health and neurodiversity frequently intersect. Many people presenting with anxiety, depression, or emotional dysregulation are also neurodivergent — sometimes diagnosed, sometimes not. Our neurodiversity-affirming lens means we understand these presentations in context rather than treating them in isolation.

Person-Centred You are the expert on your own life. Our role is to provide the clinical knowledge, the relational safety, and the reflective space — yours is to bring your experience, your goals, and your pace.

Lived Experience Our practice is informed by lived experience as well as professional expertise. We understand from the inside what it means to navigate mental health challenges, and that understanding shapes how we show up in the room.
