Medical and Primary Health Referrals

We welcome referrals from GPs, medical centres, and primary health networks across the Loddon Mallee region and nationally via telehealth.

For referring practitioners we offer:

  • Streamlined referral process — phone or email referral accepted

  • Clear communication about service availability and wait times

  • Progress updates and correspondence with referring GPs where clinically indicated and with client consent

  • Mental Health Care Plan aligned services with Medicare rebates where applicable

  • Specialist capability in EMDR, schema therapy, neurodiversity, and complex trauma — for patients requiring more than generalist counselling

For GPs in the Swan Hill region we are available for brief phone consultations to discuss complex referrals before they are made

    BlueHub is a specialised mental health service designed to support Victoria Police and Victorian-based AFP members experiencing work-related trauma, connecting them with clinicians who understand the unique psychological demands of policing. Through this partnership, Mind Over Matters will be working alongside BlueHub to help expand access to trauma-informed psychological care for those who serve our communities every day.     The Divergent Edge is a neurodivergent-led practice offering adult ADHD Coaching and Counselling shaped by lived experience, clinical know-how and practical support. Grounded in affirming care, we see people as whole, complex and capable. The divergent edge is grounded in lived experience, guided by values, and driven by a vision to create a world where neurodivergent minds are understood, celebrated, and empowered to thrive.   • Carer Gateway Victoria Advisory Group.

    As carers ourselves with lived experience, we are proud to be members of the Carer Gateway Victorian Advisory Committee. The Carer Gateway Australia Government program that offers a range of free supports and services for carers. Carers can be anyone who provides care and support to a family member or friend living with disability, a medical condition, mental illness, or who is frail due to age. In addition to our partnerships to expand the range and affordability of care we can provide we are registered with a range of organisations or bodies or including;

  • Worksafe Victoria.

  • Medicare (Including better access program, chronic disease management, pregnancy support & eating disorders)

  • Transport Accident Commission Victoria.

  • Ability to deliver under ‘financial assistance scheme’ (FAS) Victoria for approved victims of crime individuals

  • Private Health Insurers such as Bupa, HCF, Teachers Health Fund (including UniHealth), Nurses & Midwives Health (via Teachers Health), Doctors Health Fund, St Luke’s Health, Australian Regional Health Group (ARHG) – through its Ancillary Provider Accreditation Service & Medibank Private.

  • Allied health and therapeutic services can be purchased under the Home Aged Care Program
